The MCAVHN staff and volunteers provided at least 250 meals in inland Mendocino County to our clients, friends and anyone we saw who needed one. Our local community donated generously to provide the food. Each meal had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, green bean casserole, a dinner roll, pumpkin pie, and ambrosia salad. The cooking was done Tuesday and most of Tuesday night. Assembly of the meals took place Wednesday morning with staff delivering from noon to 3. We are very grateful to those who contributed to our cost, baked a turkey, helped to pack the meals and made the day a success.
