Internship Opportunities
MCAVHN offers students an opportunity to be placed at the agency to obtain experience supporting individual graduate requirements. Students are supervised by the Executive Director or the MAT Clinic Director and the leadership team.

In support of obtaining a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree Aurelie assisted the agency through infrastructure transition, development of and facilitation of staff training, developed the Opioid Use and Substance Use Prevention Education Presentation, trained staff to co-present, and coordinated the delivery in schools. Aurelie also assisted the MCAVHN administration in policy revision.

Alcohol & Other Drug Studies

MCAVHN is pleased to support Joe Ditto (MCAVHN Harm Reduction Program Manager) in completing the Alcohol and Other Drug Studies program at Mendocino College. As an intern Joe provides program supports, case management and SUD counseling services to program participants in the Medication Assisted Treatment Clinic.

MCAVHN is pleased to support Jessica Walker (MCAVHN MAT Clinic Coordinator) as she completes her CPT 1 Certificate, Phlebotomy license in 2024. Jessica will be provided externship experience in the MAT Clinic.
